Yesterday I was invited to join a two boat party in Rio Vista. The host Greg Lyons, brought eight clients of his together for a sturgeon adventure. I chose to go on Ken's boat because I could just feel he was the man, and sure enough he was the man. His intimate knowledge of the waters and pre-trip scouting produced a total of eight sturgeon. Two over sized, two under sized, and two keepers. A very symmetrical catch by a guide that is anything but symmetrical. Ken really went all out for us. To a man we all want to fish again for these monsters. Thanks Ken, I will put your number in my speed dialer. Hope to see you soon.

Ken- We had a great time fishing with you and Dallas last Saturday on the Sacramento River. It was a birthday treat I'm sure won't be forgotten for Anthony. Your effort and knowledge was very much appreciated by both of us. The thrill of hooking those salmon was awesome. Thanks again and we will see you again next year.

I My wife and I would like to say thank you again for the great fishing experience on Wednesday, the eleventh of February. Even though the fish were being really stubborn that day, we still couldn't find any dull or negative parts to the trip. Everything from the organizing and planning to the launching and fishing was done perfectly and professionally. I have paid alot of money for guided trips before, and I have to say, that none of my guides tried harder, knew more, or even compared to the excellent service that our guides Ken and Dallas provided to us. We had such a good time and would like to say thanks again. We will see you in June for some shad and striped bass, and again in November for the great King Salmon. We will keep in touch, and probably even plan something in between for a little more fun. Vicki, Ken, and Dallas are very nice people who know what they are talking about, and we are very excited to fish with them again. Hope we can fish soon, Frank

Dear Ken and Vicki,
Gregory and I would like to sincerely thank both of you for an unforgettable fishing experience. Vicky, your trip arrangements were high class! Both of us truly admired Ken’s skills and knowledge as a fishing guide. During the trip we also appreciated him as a caring and fun person. The salmons that we caught, including the giant 45 pounder really made our day.
Please, stay healthy and strong, since we intend to have many more fishing trips with you in the coming years!

This is the fourth time we have gone out with the River Pirate and each we catch fish and have a great experience. First it was rainbow trout, then the giant sturgeon, then kokonee salmon in the lake, and last was the monster salmon! And the one that got away was huge!! Ken is the best!

Ken, you are AWESOME!! Great time and lots of action. A truly dedicated guide that not only shares stories and laughs, but gets you fish, regardless how long it may take. That's what will keep me coming back....
Ken, here's a joke for ya buddy;
A lady about 8 months pregnant got on a bus. She noticed the man opposite her was smiling at her. She immediately moved to another seat. This time the smile turned into a grin, so she moved again. The man seemed more amused. When on the fourth move, the man burst out laughing, she complained to the driver and he had the man arrested. ... The case came up in court. The judge asked the man (about 20 years old) what he had to say for himself. The man replied, 'Well your Honor, it was like this: when the lady got on the bus, I couldn't help but notice her condition. She sat down under a sign that said, 'The Double Mint Twins are coming' and I grinned. Then she moved and sat under a sign that said, 'Logan's Liniment will reduce the swelling,' and I had to smile. Then she placed herself under a deodorant sign that said, 'William's Big Stick Did the Trick,' and I could hardly contain myself. But Your Honor, when she moved the fourth time and sat under a sign that said, 'Goodyear Rubber could have prevented this Accident!' .... I just lost it!

I had the time of my life!
I haven't enjoyed myself this much fishing since I was in the Bayou. I mean that and thank you.
I am seriously planning a trip in April for Sturgeon and September and November for Salmon. I may even throw one on for some fly fishing.
Thank you for everything and will be seeing Ken soon.
